Parts of Speech

शब्द-भेद

A words are spoken or written together in a specific manner to create meaningful sentences. The interpretation of the message can be changed in how the words are arranged or used.

In order to get the proper sequence of words to deliver the correct message we must understand the different categories or parts of speech.

Eight different parts of speech have been identified in the english language, on the basis of which one can create and deliver a sentence with the proper content and message.

किसी भी वाक्य को लिखने या बोलने के लिए शब्दों के समूह का उपयोग किया जाता है. वाक्य में मौजूद संदेश को सही भाव और अर्थ में पेश करन पाना ही एक अच्छे भाषा के जानकार की सही पहचान है.

शब्दों के उपयोग के प्रकार और वाक्य के भाव से तय होता है कि वाक्य किस श्रेणी का है. शब्दों के सही उपयोग को समझने के लिये विशेषज्ञों ने उन्हें 8 मुख्य वर्गों में बाँटा है. इन वर्गों को English भाषा में Parts of Speech और हिंदी शब्द-भेद कहते हैं.

8 प्रकार के Parts of Speech (शब्द-भेद) इस प्रकार हैं...

1.
Noun (नाउन)
संज्ञा

वह शब्द जो किसी व्यक्ति, स्थान या वस्तु के नाम के रूप में प्रयोग किया जाता हैं उसे Noun कहते हैं.
The word used as the name to indicate a person, place or thing is called a noun.

2.
Adjective (एडजेक्टिय)
विशेषण

Adjective वह शब्द है जो Noun का वर्णन करता है या उनके बारे में संकेत देता है, जैसे कि रंग-रूप, गुण-दोष, संख्या, आदि.
The word that describe the noun - that elaborate on the appearance, quality, quantity etc. - is known as an adjective.

Pronoun (प्रोनाउन)
सर्वनाम

Pronoun वह शब्द है जो Noun के स्थान पर प्रयोग किया जाता है.
Pronoun is the word used in place of a noun, generally to avoid repetition of the noun.

Verb (वर्ब)
क्रिया

Verb वह शब्द या शब्दों का समूह है जो Noun के विषय में कुछ कहे अथवा उनके कोई कार्य का करना प्रकट करे.
Verb is the word or group of words that says something about the noun or expresses some action by the noun.

Adverb (एडवर्ब)
क्रिया विशेषण

Adverb वह शब्द है जो Verb, Adjective या अन्य Adverb के अर्थ को सुधारे या उसकी विशेषता प्रकट करे.
An adverb is the word that improvises or expresses some characteristics of the verb, adjective or some other adverb.

Preposition (प्रेपोजिशन)
सम्बन्ध सूचक-अव्यय

Preposition वह शब्द है जो किसी Noun या Pronoun के साथ प्रयोग किया जाता है और जो उस Noun या Pronoun का सम्बन्ध किसी दूसरे Noun या Pronoun से प्रदर्शित करता है.
Preposition is a word used with a noun or pronoun. It expresses the relationship of that noun or pronoun with some other noun or pronoun.

Conjunction (कंजंक्शन)
समुच्चय बोधक अव्यय

Conjunction वह शब्द है जो दो शब्दों या वाक्यों को जोड़ता है.
Conjunction is the word that joins two words or sentences.

8.
Interjection (इंटरजेक्शन)
विस्मयादि बोधक अव्यय

Interjection वह शब्द है जो अचानक दिल से प्रकट होने वाली भावना को दर्शाता है.
Interjection is the word that expresses the strong sudden sentiments sometimes experienced.
